[s-cars] Apikol Kit? Good, bad or indifferent?

That might actually be my problem with the bomb right now: I start out with
a rock hard peddle, then by pumping, I get peddle pressure back. No leaks
in brake lines, no fluid loss in brake MC. The warning light stays on
throughout. If I push down on the peddle with all my strength, it gradually
goes all the way to the floor, then I can pump it once more to the floor,
and the light goes out, the brakes work fine for the rest of the drive.
This is not the same symptom as when the bomb failed: then you started out
with good pedal, but wound up with the rock after 3-10 taps. If list
thinks this sounds more like I need to flush the system, and clean the
filters, that's what I'll try.

Yeah, the bomb is not the best design, IMO.
The check valve does get sticky, and flushing the system with fresh
Pentosin does help some.
It did with mine, at least. I used Fred Munro's hydraulic flush procedure.
