The way I see it is Virgin's project will do more good for one primary
reason: public interest. I think because Virgin will be giving hundreds of
rich people a taste we will see them investing further into all areas of
space flight technology and a renewed public interest in getting us out
there.
What builds more interest about the seas: QE2, or the Jahre Viking?
Obviously our interest in the seas peaked a looong time ago, but I think my
point can be seen. Few get as excited about something they can't take for a
spin themselves ;-).
