That's why I mention "aluminum alloys" elsewhere in my post.

And why I mention that aluminum *can be* engineered properly for the
application.  Whether it is or not is a question, and in the case of
ECS and StopTech, the answer to the question is "No".

As for BIRA?  I don't know.  Which is why I bought actual Audi parts
for the application.
