[s-cars] Rear brake line failure....

The rubber line on my S4 also failed with no warning.
On I-94 traveling 70 mph+ when traffic slowed to ~35mph suddenly, my
brake pedal went to the floor and I swerved into the median to avoid
rear ending the Jeep cherokee in front of me.

AS I said before, replace all 4 lines, they're cheap.
