" Lint & stuff " ! LOL , Jeff you gotta stop putting dead hookers and monkeys in yo trunk doode !
On a more serious note., I would check your bv as well as the the hose going into your ECU. Sometimes the clamp works loose. Also, the hose going into the boost solenoid on your firewall.
GL !

Gotta ask, are you seeing a check engine light?
Did you check for codes?
What's your fuel pressure like?
Reason I ask, is , my '93 S4 began a slow descent into lethargic mode, I
could only
drive it with light throttle, as going anywhere over 6PSI, caused a cough,
and Check Engine light.
code was something - 2413.. ?? can't remember exactly.
Bruce Everett, suggested I check fuel flow at rated pressure.. and low and
behold that was MY problem.
(even on a fuel pump 1.5 years old)
Ran the car until the low fuel 'LIGHT' came on, and removed the fuel
pump to
find lint and 'stuff'
clogging the input screen on the fuel pump.
Plucked that gunk out of there and bingo! ran full boost and no check
engine lights.
So check boost leaks and fuel system..
For boost leaks, all you need is a hand bicycle pump and a How To doc I'll
send you off list.
