[s-cars] Outside mirror glass GB - aspherical strip??

Gentz,

Once again thanks to Tom for spearheading this.

I have a question, having driven Bill's avant I like the mirror
glass he has on his car. Both the driver's and passenger's side mirrors
have a vertical line seperating the two different types of mirror.

I believe you have called this the "aspherical strip" it sure came in handy with the nemo mirror on the passenger's side.

It sounds like the mirror glass you are finding only has this
feature on the driver's side, is that correct?

Just wondering what the pros/cons are, why it appears the aspherical strip 
isn't available on the passenger's side glass.
