[s-cars] 2003 S6 or 2004/05 S4??

Lewis,

Shortly here I am going the same route.  My wife still loves her  
"aged" 95 S6 Avant.  I am looking to get myself a 2004 or newer S4.  I  
am only looking for the manual, hence the S6 is out.  However, I am  
thinking a 02-03 S6 Avant would be the right car to sell on the wife  
for her upgrade, but I would have to convince her to drive a slushbox  
(I know, poor me).

Like all the comments, I would say transmission choice and size would  
be your determining point.  If you want a manual, the S4 is your choice.
