[s-cars] Front Hub Bolt questions

It's a 27mm.

The main reason the manuals tell you to loosen and tighten them while on
the ground is that you could topple the car off a lift. Not as much of
an issue with the largesse of today's cars, but think of a 1800 lb VW
Rabbit with all the weight at the front and it's easy to see why the
concern. Plus while on the ground you won't need to have somebody else
standing on the brakes to allow you to loosen/tighten the bolt.

One thing you don't want to do is roll the car around without having the
axle bolt tightened, or at least snugged pretty good. Otherwise you
could damage the wheel bearing.
