[s-cars] shifting problem

Does the shifter seem to be "located" in the right place. I had a '91 200
that constantly had its shifter get "dislocated" because of a bolt backing
out. The symptoms were that either all the upper gears 1, 3, 5 were hard or
impossible to get into, or all the lower gears 2,4,R were hard to get into.

Subject: [s-cars] shifting problem

Hello Everyone,

I just had my clutch fall to the floor on my 1995 S6, leading to my master
cylinder being replaced as the problem. 2 days after getting the car back,
now I cannot shift the car into 3rd gear. All the other gears shift without
any problem. Could this be a transmission problem, slave cylinder, something
in the shifting mechanism. Any thoughts into this would be appreciated. Of
note also is that I had my clutch, and flywheel, replaced a year ago along
with a 6 speed transmission placed in the car at the same time.

Martin
