[s-cars] Brake Fluid

I recently had the opportunity to change front brake pads, prior to pushing
the pistons back in I went to unscrew the cap and place a rag around the
brake reservoir. When looking at the res I noticed the sensor for the fluid
level was unplugged and there was hardly any fluid in the reservoir! Looking
at the area under the MC and around the frame rails it was already covered
with fluid. I held the res and wiggled it slightly and fluid started leaking
out the bottom of the reservoir, like drop after drop!
Just happened to have another reservoir and MC with the rubber grommets
Replaced the rubber grommets, and all was well. I'd suggest if anyone has
removed the reservoir for any reason they invest in new grommets!
Mine were crumbling when I removed them! My dealer didn't have any, and they
said there were two different types.
4AO-611-817-A and 4A)-611-817-B
The correct PN is the A version
I'm going to stick a couple in my parts bin in the car
So now I've got brake fluid all over the frame rails and everything in
between the reservoir.
I've wiped it up to the best of my ability, but should I consider (heated)
pressure washing the area as well?
I'm not sure what the brake fluid does to paint or other areas. I'm assuming
it isn't doing the paint any good!
