Martin - You may find one "used" but they are also available (still) from
the dealer for approximately $30 (ouch!)

I think, but others can correct me, that they are common with other similar
year models.

To avoid having this happen again, you'll need to ensure that the plastic
tabs holding the turn signal assembly "click" into place. An easy fix is to
file some of the material off the tabs on your "new" signal to ensure that
they engage the interior clip. Note that often the locking "screw" on the
assembly (which is supposed to help the tabs "click" into place and hold
them there) will be old, crappy plastic and easily strips. Go easy on it.

If my advice sounds strange, or doesn't make sense, feel free to ask
questions, but when you look at the replacement part and how it engages into
its housing, it should all be clear.
