[s-cars] Blown strut mounts

There's definitely a cap that's installed on the shaft below the moiunt to keep the strut from coming through the mount into your hood.  The washer on top that's above the mount won't do anything when it let's go.  If you don't have it you're gonna have a mess soon.  I went through 2 sets of cheap mounts in 5K miles before recently springing for dealer items.  Jury's still out....I'm running stock 92 springs and Bilstein sports on an otherwise stock 92 with Boleros...and I'm in NC....good/excellent road surfaces.

S6 avant with oem struts and s6+ springs.
Just replaced (with Meyle brand) the mounts, havent even gotten 1000  
miles out of them. Both are blown. The roads are rough around here,  
but not THAT bad!

First question: do these springs require oem mounts?
What I removed, that presumably lasted for awhile; have p/n 4A0 412  
383C? (Hard to read the last letter.)
FA Has 4A0 412 377C. Did I have a euro mount that I need to source?

Any BTDT?

2nd, I don't have anything between the upper strut shaft and the  
bottom of the mount. FA doesn't show anything either unless I'm not  
seeing it correctly.
What is the elusive washer that i read about that sometimes gets  
forgotten?

I have the dished washer and nut to secure the top of the strut.
