[s-cars] Passenger side drive axle

Unbolt the axleshaft from the transmission, and then you'll have enough room to get it out. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but you might need to remove a heat shield and one or two other things (I think an electrical connector and a cable clamp) in order to get the axleshaft out.

You shouldn't need to touch the downpipe.

Subject: [s-cars] Passenger side drive axle

I seem unable to pull out the passenger side drive axle. Turned steering
wheel all the way in both directions, but there still does not appear to be
enough room

to pull it out. Do I have to pull out the downpipe, or is there something I
am missing?

Thanks,

Robert
