[s-cars] TT Exhaust Question (off topic)

Sorry to bug you all...  My wife's '01 TTQ 225 just broke its front exhaust pipe (turbo-to-cat) at the bellows flex joint.  Found a good used one from Shokan.  How the devil does it go in?  I got the old one out in two pieces--the bottom from underneath, the top from under the hood.  Shy of pulling the engine, there must be a way to reinstall!  Any suggestions? btdt?  TIA.
