Had the weirdest sensation last night / today...

Went to bed last night round midnight to the most peaceful midsummer's August //Silence imaginable.  Just the thick smell of the warm 'n sultry CT humidity thru darkness as the new moon is 4daze off.

Awoke sunrise this sunny a.m. to further silence...  silence that was defining.  //Silence that quickly harkened up blurry memories of //SFest.  That sound, or lack thereof - has been indicative of each of the //Seven //SFests prior.

Corny as it sounds or not, it was blatant and awesome.  You could see it hear it smell it - and it *ruled*.

With any luck...  the 8th will be just as 'loud'.

Remember 8/20 marks final day of shirt (etc.) availability.  There will be no shirt sales @ //SFest this year.  Thurs 8/20 also marks the final day of pre-paid registration @ www.sfest.com as we close out our Pay Pal account.  We'd rather not process you @ the gate - again - this just makes for a better event for ***YOU***... less waiting @ the gate to get in and MORE content we're thus able to budget / execute.

Additionally, should you plan on staying @ the local Holiday Inn Express ensure you request the //SFest discounted rate of ~ $89 (IIRC).

We're _well_ ahead of any other years' registrations to date, which speaks to the caliber of //SFest... and to the doodsez that cometh.  Crap we've got caravans building once again from the midwest & up and down the east coast, a TN'er (again! impressive!), a NV'er, Canadians, lions and tigers and bears - oh my!  And with any luck some (or all) of the //Stuff I have //Stuffed up my //Slimy little //Sleeves will vette out and knock yer socks off as unusual.
