Gents-

Well I wanted to share it all with you here first, you who have provided me with my sounding board and my motivation / instigation.  I got a call from editor Bidrawn yesterday...  it's official:

I have received my 1st assignment for publication!

I'm to compose something for the mag's "Obsession" section.  And boyohboy did I just 'happen' to have *THE* car already queued up for 'that' already - muwaHA!  SCHWING!  And oh man is it a _good one_.  Told Les I'd surprise him 8-).  I'm to sched. the outing and call for a photographer to come shoot it when ready.  Week after //SFest I guess, slightly ahem 'busy' right now.

Thanks for listening, and for all your support over the years.  I'd never have gotten 'here' w/o it.
