[s-cars] Clutch master,slave cylinder hose

Today I was making my way home and the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there,Oh shit think I as I have read about putting in a clutch master. However once I had the car home in the garage I took a look an the combination hard-rubber line is leaking. I was able to take it out OK> So my question I have is dealer or hydraulic shop or ? The thing says all over it not for brake use is this hose something special i.e. not just brake hose? Is this a common failure? Any BTDT would be helpful Best Regards, George
