[s-cars] Silly question - cryo treated rotors

Hi Y'all,

I frequently see ads for cryogenically treated rotors at, of course, 
premium prices.  Laying all the bullcrap aside is there actually any 
added value for this treatment or is it just marketing hype?  IOW, is 
it worth the added expense in terms of better performance or longer life or...?
