[s-cars] NAC - Benz 300E Questions

W124 Benz's are one of the BEST cars to leave MBZ.
 
They're 500K cars w/ mild maintenance. 
 
The later 300E's or 260E's are the way to go. Just make sure there's proof of the wiring harness being changed or updated.
 
Check the coolant res while cold to make sure there's no film or white crud indicative of a HG going. 
 
Other than that these cars are the proverbial tanks. Inline 6 that just goes on forever. Tranny's are pretty damn solid as well and they really drive sweet.
 
The 1993 W124 500E is on my bucketlist of cars to eventually own. Just need to find a clean enough one.
