[s-cars] Exhausts

Well, I'd say, "it depends"... If you already have an RS2 sized turbo or
larger and RS2 sized injectors, there is a point at which the exhausting
from the motor does become a limiting factor. The exhaust is NOT a limiting
factor in Stage 1, 1+ type chip-mostly applications, I agree.
As perhaps noted, the AAN in an UrS4/6 is like a canvas to which each builds
there own custom configuration. In my case, I believe what I was told by Tim
McClean at NEA (my tuner). At the level I was pushing, I was limited by
exhaust flow and the Stromung pushed the final tune farther than was
otherwise possible.
I'm not a tuner, but I've tested various chipsets in my configuration and my
custom Dahlback work has a peak power and torque that I have not felt with
other (non-custom) chips. That feeling corresponds to a very turbulent
exhaust flow and a very deep-throaty sound from the Stromung. No other
tested chips pushed my exhaust to make that same "full" sound.
Caveat - I have no dyno or drag numbers to compare with, so I could be as
full of it as my Stromung.
carry on...
