[s-cars] Long-term Warranties

nope....no one will, including the manufacturer with the new-car warranty.
all have an exclusion around "non-manufacturer approved modifications".
that being said, about 75% of my audi customers have mods to their cars. so
consider:
1. inspectors typically come out only for larger claims. so unless the shop
you select does something boneheaded like calling it in as "we have highly
modified chipped car here with blow turbos....can you give me a claim number
please?", you'll be ok
2. if an inspector is going to come out, you'll have advanced notice, so you
can go back to stock if necessary for a large claim
3. the inspectors are not really car guys, so subtle mods will escape them
anyway
but if you have two miles of polished intake and lots of underhood bling,
massive tires, big porsche calipers, exhaust, aftermarket boost gauge, etc,
you're going to get denied, and it might be impractical except in the worst
of claims to try and go back to stock.

As an aside, Bruce, will any of your companies
provide coverage on many of the rather highly
modified vehicles of list members or are we stuck with doing OEM only?
