Buying a plow is a lot like buying an UrS4. You'll pay $2k - $6k and get
what you pay for. You'll have a lot of fun plowing, but you'll spend some
serious time doing DIY maintenance, sometimes when it's
snowing/sleeting/raining. During our last storm in VT (~2 weeks ago), I
spent some quality time outside replacing the plow angle control solenoid on
my rig.

That being said, $75 per driveway per storm (on average) makes for some nice
supplemental income.
