[s-cars] another mystery - phantom sunroof

All this discussion of mystery sunroofs has me scared!

Every now and then I get a back of the neck with water from my sunroof
leaking!

Sounds like some preventative measures are in order.

FYI,

 

At about 140K miles and 12 years, I took apart the sunroof switch and found
that the resistor coil was worn through in spots.  Replaced it with a new
factory switch - it worked somewhat better.  After cleaning the sunroof
tracks and dry lubed it it worked even better.
