[s-cars] aero blade wipers?

I recently paid a premium for the Bosch aero blades for the S-car thinking that cheap wipers was a false economy. Wouldn't clear the windshield worth didly! Replaced immediately with Anco winter blades (less than 1/2 the price) and the windscreen is again nice and clear. We get a lot of Mag-Chloride used ion the roads here and smearing can be a real problem.
Will probably never buy a Bosch blade again. Might try the Michelins from what I see here.
I need to get a set of blades for our 05 A6 which has a different mounting system than the old "shepherds hook" system. Can't find anywhere that stocks or can get them. I'm _not_ going to the "stealer" if I can help it. Any one know where to source them?

My FWIW is I've been very dissaspointed with the Rain-X aero blades
the ones they are hyping up on TV) from the first time I used them.
hey just don't wipe well, and at the start of the down swing the
rivers blade seems to draw most of the water it wiped right back into
iew as if it's got a big low pressure area behind the blade and sucks
he water in behind it. Would not buy again.
I've had good results from the Michelin blades that came on the A8. I
as thinking about getting Michelins to replace the Rain-X's.

ago. They're just now starting to show signs of wear.

Have the same Michelins on my car. Passenger seems fine, though I
don't look out of it, but I get the same dead spot in the center of
the driver's side. I've been having problems with my squirts, which
is now resolved, so that should help. Once it gets real wet, they
clean up just fine, but when it's light rain I get a few skips with
it. Might be the curvature of the windshield, might just be that they
 suck.

I usually go for the cheapies and replace them twice a year. Last
time I spent big bucks on BOSCH blades (because I like being able to
see) and they were damaged and useless within a few weeks. Some bug
guts had apparently taken a chunk out of the blade and thereafter left
a line everytime I turned them on. Swapped passenger side (cheapo)
with driver side, and everything was happy.

On that note, I believe I'm using the wrong size passenger wiper.
What's the recommended or stock size? The books at the FLAPS had one
size for Triflex (or whatever) and another for michelin. I went with
the michie recommended size and it seems way too big.
