[s-cars] Where is fog lamp relay?

Tony -

on the 95.5+ cars the fog relay isn't what you think it is. most of the BTDT
on the web is about an earlier wiring scheme that doesn't relate (aka the
common relay jumper trick doesn't work). for the later cars it's not
actually a 'fog relay' that turns them on, it's a 'cut-out' relay that shuts
them off when the high beams are on.  the supply voltage is hard-switched
and flows through the headlight switch and the fog switches, then the relay
just interrupts that when the high beams are on.

the easiest hot-wire is probably to pull the fuse panel and remove the
yellow supply wire to Fuse 16, and replace it with a supply wire from the
load reduction circuit.  I say that from my future plans and examining the
schematic however not from experience. somebody just said recently they'd
bypassed by simply hotwiring directly to the fog switch, that should work as
well as long as you 1. fuse it somehow since you're bypassing the fusebox,
and 2. run hot supply to the rear fog first as it then feeds the front fog
switch. however I'm going to try the other route both for easier wiring and
to retain the stock fuse.
