[s-cars] Tire tests - interesting

BTDT many time, much less formally. Tires start to suck in "deep" water way
before they reach the tread wear marks. But running on new tires all the
time is impossible so, wet traction is at the end related to your tire
budget.

Tire Rack suggestion for tire replacement.  As usual No  
Affiliation...  I thought it was interesting.  Has anyone on the list  
done similar (maybe less formal) testing?  On what tires?
