Since Derocco16V said he was going with the Boxster calipers, the pad 
would be the same no matter which rotor he uses.
I went 312 because while the leverage argument is real, I think the 
benefit is minuscule and I needed more radial clearance to fit
under the stock wheels.

So what's the difference between the 312 and 323 rotors, aside 
from slightly more thermal mass? How much larger is the pad 
surface?

I suspect that you won't get much difference in braking. You will 
get heavier rotors and calipers, and you will need to run 18" 
wheels, right?

If he's not tracking the car, I don't see that the additional 
weight and expense is worth it.
