Speaking of 924s, the bastards of P-cardom, if anyone knows the whereabouts of 9249207299, a Petrol Blue '79 that I sold in 93, I'd like it back... 8^/

Rain Man yesterday.
I forgot about the first 20 mins of that movie and all that Sant' Agata Bull action.
Cool scene when those 4 Countach's getting unloaded in Long Beach and Cruise tooling around in that uber-sweet
Daytona 400 2+2 Coupe.
Factoid: Dustin Hoffman used to own a 71 Daytona vert in Yellow.
One big regret I had was not taking the time to go to Modena and Sant Agata to take the factory tours for Ferrari and Lamborghini when we were in Italy 2 yrs ago.
It was either a week in the Tuscan hills or Bolgna......guess where we went ?
Oh well.
In Cruises' warehouse in the movie there's a quick shot of a Maserati BiTurbo behind a Ferrari........man, I put a downpayment on a 86 model back in 1987 @ Wegge Motors in Pasadena California. They were one of the few Alfa and Maserati importers in the West Coast.
Backed out of the deal last minute and ended up getting a gently owned 924 Turbo Porsche mit 16'in forged 928 wheels. Glad I did .
The 924T was buckets of fun. Truth be told I wish I had one today. Talk about a great track slut.

So SuperV-
What's this S4tt reference here??? I mean, *I* know (cause I saw it on
your FB page), but do tell do tell - enquiring mindz should know the newly
crowned S-Bitch afterall.
And too f'n funny on the UrSEngrish. Totally. I had one of my
'real' friends (non-car, and sadly my 'car' friends are more my
'real' friends in the last 1/2 dozen yrs) read my blog and comment to me
the other day that my writing was hard to read.
No it's not! Er uh ummm... well for laypersons I 'spose... 8-).
Tough tits for him...

I'm on both and LinkedIn is not the best place to exchange with urSers.
Usual urSers crazy talk may look weird in the middle of your ex-bosses or
coworkers recommendations, although not BTDT yet, thanks to the wisdom of
the urS-listers (I wouldn't invite AW S4tt listers on LinkedIn!).
FB works best for me, although some of my non-Audi friends sometime ask me
for translation from urSEnglish to plain English. Beside, we can create
groups (there's already one for S-Cars.org fans) so we can keep talking
urSEnglish and our other friends knows it must be some sort of
"foreign"
language.
BTW, not everybody is your friend, especially on FB. Better keep names that
don't ring a bell out.
Vincent.
