[s-cars] part number questions

The cam cover gasket (p/n 034 198 025F) hardens over time, from the heat. Since it is relatively cheap and an easy fix, I wouldn't complain about only getting 50K. The genuine part is ~$60, but I'm sure many would attest to the quality of Victor Reinz gaskets (common in the aftermarket and an OEM supplier) and they are roughly half the cost.

As for the rear caliper pin seals (p/n 443 698 470), they used the same ones on the '96-'01 A4s and can be had from the aftermarket too. I just checked AutoPartOnlineCanada and they have them for $7.

Subject: [s-cars] part number questions

Hello again:

i need some info before I place a parts order.

-Valve cover gasket - mine's leaking again after 50,000+ miles. Would
the genuine Audi part last longer?

-p/n for the rubber bootie which protects the rear caliper carrier
slides? dealer only?

Thanks all!
