Sometimes I just wish things would break!
Matt!!! Slowly put the keyboard down and back away. You're leaning over a _very_ steep precipice. Be very careful what you ask for!
I do however know exactly how you feel. The "just tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it" scenario. I'm precisely there with the brakes on my car! Throwing expensive parts at problems is _not_ the proper solution.

Thank you Steve. Appreciate the offer. After yesterday, I'm not sure
hat the element is bad! At least not yet anyway.
Update:
hecked voltage with me sitting in the seat, and have 13+ on both
erminals 5 and 6. My bum is strangely getting a bit warm though not
ike I remembered.
What's wierd is that the volts seem to fluctuate from 13 to 6 and back
gain. WTF is up with that?

My wrench mis-diagnosed my seat heater problem and as a result I
have a driver side bottom cushion complete with working heater
element. It’s in good shape with 80k miles of sitting on it. Make
any reasonable (low) offer; I’d like to clean out my garage.
Kind regards,
Steve V
Phone... Still the best.
