[s-cars] Battery not liking the cold weather

Likewise. At the shop I used to work for (an Interstate dealer) we nearly
told Interstate to go "F" themselves. We had something more than a dozen
month-or-two-old batteries die in customer cars over a 6 month period. That
includes 3 in the bosses car and two in mine!! Then we had two separate
incidents of Interstate batteries leaking thier acid while on the storage
rack, one where I ended up with significant acid burns (I thought somebody
had spilled water on the ground at first and was wiping with paper towels
and bare hands). The problems seemed to go away, but I'll never buy another
Interstate. Recently I went as far as to buy a CarQuest battery over an
Interstate. Still going after 3 weeks ;-).
