[s-cars] Just cut out and died. Update 1

Oh yeah a breezy -16F (-26.7C) here this AM.   Too cold for me personally
and the "Alfresco Performance Center."

But Miss Piggy is at the wrench who reports now that it will start, run for
five minutes and die.  He believes it to be electrical related issue given
the way it conks out.  To me prior to final death, there were a series of
very brief but sharp misses.. Like the whole electrical system was suddenly
turned off for like half a second and then it would come back and be okay
few or 30 seconds or a few minutes and then finally die for good.

I gave him a new thermostat to install this AM.  Wahler 87c which passed my
boiling H2O test last night.  

I am really thinking ignition switch, but he is going to reinstall the old
coil packs and see what happens to rule out a faulty apikol wiring harness.


I am hoping it still dies and then go with the new ignition switch.. Unless
advised something else is more probable.  The newer style coil packs were
running sooo well (when it was running) that they or their derivative are
the way to go IME.  

Of course our 20o heatwave forecast tomorrow may cure all ills.. dunno.

And that's the way it is.
