Funny that you mention this - a few of us here in VT are seriously considering this, considering the demise of the Canadian GP, we are flush with $ we normally would've spent on the attending the race in Montreal - plus one of us has a G60 Corrado he's willing to sacrifice. 



Grassroots Motorsports had a recent write up on what you need to do to campaign one.   The $500 doesn't cover the money spent for brakes, tires, and safety equipment (rollcage, harness, etc). 



Tons of videos out there on some entrants in last year's races.
