Did anyone purchase S8 parts from this crook -

He advertised in the Marketplace. I sent money in April and that was the last of him.  
Does anyone here know him personally or the area he lives? I'm in Michigan 
and he is a 10 hour drive away. I am quite confident that I can get the parts 
and my money if I visit him. Just looking for a bit of background before I drive.
