A few years ago there was a lister posting about paying for S8 seats from a
guy in Notre Dame du Nord and not receiving them. From what I recall the
lister lived in the U.S. and the seats were supposed to be delivered as the
guy from Notre Dame du Nord was driving to Florida. Various excuses were
made and the seats never were delivered and eventually e-mails were no
longer answered. One of the chaps who drops into my local dealer from time
to time travels through that part of Quebec and mentioned seeing a S8 in
Notre Dame du Nord and said it looked like it was wrecked, so the car
probably exists. I intended to ask this chap if he could stop in and ask
about the seats the next time he went through the area, but I never did run
into him again.
You probably could get your money or your parts if you could track the guy
down. How's your French?

He advertised in the Marketplace. I sent money in April and that was the
last of him.  
Does anyone here know him personally or the area he lives? I'm in Michigan 
and he is a 10 hour drive away. I am quite confident that I can get the
parts 
and my money if I visit him. Just looking for a bit of background before I
drive.
