Bill,

because the coils are moved to the firewall, and you have to change the coil connectors 
to the GM style all you would be retaining is the 4 audi connectors and some wire. 

It's my humble opinion it would be best to start from scratch.

Sell off your 1.8t coil kit to someone who wants go try that route and either contact
Marc Swanson for a plug n play kit or buy parts and build. After I built my bracket
it took me ~ 2 hours to build/install my harness and coils.
