[s-cars] UrS4 Battery melted, where's the blown fuse?

I think that "The lock pump is toast so I disconnected it" are the key
words in this email.

When I had a failing locking pump and disconnected it, I got a no crank,
no start situation. My experience is that the pump is integrated into the
alarm system, and the car will not start with it disconnected.
