Thanks for the warning - the car has been sitting in the driveway, the
only running the car has gotten is testing...

...or just pull the codes, because if the ECU can't compensate, it'll
throw a code.  The adaptation values will also be all sorts of
wrong...

I would think a mechanical timing misalignment would result in a
nearly instant code on the AAN's due to the cam position sensor?

Lastly, Vittorio, DO NOT continue to run the car with pinging loud
enough to hear. If you can hear it, you are doing damage to the
engine.
