There's a Corolla hybrid now?

The big improvement is really with the SUVs, though- no matter how stupid it
sounds, a Tahoe hybrid that can do 18-20mpg city cycle is far better than
what the gas version does. The thing that kills me is that GM could have put
in a smaller V-6 turbodiesel in the Tahoe and probably have gotten the same
type of mileage with a lot less complexity. Merc ML and GL Bluetecs get
about 20mpg city. The gas versions are more like 14. And that's a big, heavy
SUV.

I'll still get the Merc because their diesel technology has generally been
the best out there- with the 350SDL engine being the big exception.
