Peter,

I assume you meant the _3256_ also works for the 7A and 3B motors?  Yes,
the 3256 is the correct locking tool for all 20V motors.  The 2079 is
just an extension for the crank bolt and doesn't car what motor (20V or
10V) its being used on.
