[s-cars] Torque wrench for spark plugs recommendation

First, its "ft-lbs" (actually proper torque is measured in lb-ft), not
"ft/lbs". Sorry - engineer geek here. ;-)

My recommendation is to troll Ebay for a MAC/Snap-On/Matco used torque
wrench. These are much better than the Craftsman. My very low usage
Craftsman plastic bits broke, I think due to age (~15 years). While 15
years may seem like a good run, a good tool should last darn near
forever IMO.

I picked up a used MAC, all-metal torque wrench that was recently
calibrated for $50 on Ebay. It was the higher range, 1/2" drive model
so I suppose you could find a smaller one for that or less. It takes
some hunting but I am confident my used MAC will last me a lifetime.

Subject: [s-cars] Torque wrench for spark plugs recommendation

Since the subject of tools has been discussed.

I'd like to purchase a torque wrench for lower torque applications,
such as spark plugs.
My current torque wrench's range is 20-200 ft/lbs....

Sears has a current sale on Craftsman Torque wrenches for $59.99...
I do know that unlike other Craftsman tools, their torque wrenches do
NOT carry their lifetime warranty....

Any recommendations?
