[s-cars] wipers - final conclusion?

 I replaced the drivers side arm with a new one.? That was the end of the floating problem, and I didn't need to buy special wiper blades.

At the risk of being flamed - has any one actually installed new wiper
springs and had the floating wiper problem go away?
