I think you may have air in the system.  This is all from distant
memory but one way to get the air out I believe is to get the front of
the car on jackstands, start the car, and turn the wheels full lock to
full lock back and forth several times?  Others may pipe in about this
hopefully.

With regards to the HOH repair, I had mine repaired there and have had
no problems.   No noise, no leaking, no problems.  This was a couple
of years ago.  They know all about the orifice that needs to be
retained and they do so.  Not sure where they placed it in mine but I
have no moaning or groaning issues, never have.
