[s-cars] Clutch Oddities.....Update.....

A very common problem is for the release bearing to get hung up on the
sleeve.
I've had this happen on 3 of my cars in the last 2 years.
The pedal didn't really feel that different.
In both my A6 2.7t and my urS6 the problem came and went.
In the end the sleeve would hang in the other direction and cause the
clutch to slip occasionally which destroyed the disk.

To recap, I had good pedal feel, however, my clutch would not disengage......finally it did, and I've been driving it ever since with no issues, no change in pedal feel or engagement....all is rosy for now. My hypothesis is that some water did indeed make it down there, freezing the clutch plate where it was, and it finally did release and has not returned. Thanks again for the help....thought some would like to know.
