[s-cars] Prepurchase approval, was exhausts

I know of one lister, I won't mention any names, who has a
Mailboxes etc account for deliveries of anything that doesn't fit
in a #10 envelope.

The clerk there calls me "Leebay" as many of these alleged
purchases by this individual come from ebay. :)

Doug, you have to work on your BS. I had an S4 bumper on my back
porch for 4 months before I had it installed on my A4. It wasn't
an upgrade, it was a repair to a cracked bumper. :)

Same thing with big brake calipers -- that's just a maintenance
item.

Now the big question at my house is...will SWMBO notice that the
interior of the A4 has magically transformed from (A4 sport) cloth
to (S4) leather? I'll let you know.

My guess is that she won't...the interior in my A6 wagon is a
black leather sport interior...

My daughter didn't notice last night, the first time she rode in
the car since the transformation.

My son, on the other hand, is guaranteed to notice and to exclaim
loudly...I just have to make sure that he sees it when SWMBO isn't
within earshot.

Speaking of garages and deliveries...

The last time I had a bike delivered to the house, my wife had to
get out of her car, move the box out of the way, and then pull
into the garage. She didn't say a word. I *think* she noticed it.
Hmm, maybe she thought it was going rather than coming...
