Not a disagreement at all, but last time I did 986 black calipers on an urS4 
the pedal travel most certainly increased with a softer feel. Not alot, but 
definately noticeable. Bled the system twice using a very nice electronic 
pressure bleeder and was 100% certain that the system was air-pocket free so 
I just attributed it to the calipers.
