Did he write the ticket up correctly? That's the biggest pitfall.

All of the procedural stuff and qualifications don't really fly, at least in
PA. I don't know what the courts do in MA.

You can usually get the ticket changed to a nonmoving violation in most
courts.

If you were behind the Suburban and the cop could never really get a clear
view of your car, you would have a good argument, really depends on what the
cop writes on the ticket, how much the court indulges cross-examination of
the cop and how lucky you are.

Now if you're found guilty and go to whatever MA's equivalent of Common
Pleas Court is, then you have a shot. If you want to take it that far.
