What I've never really understood is why speeding equates to a "loss"
by the plaintiff.

PS:Nag nag...please don't quote the entire thread when hitting
'reply'.  Even Gmail lets you selectively reply these days via a
"google labs" plugin which only quotes what text you select.)  This
has a direct impact on how much disk space/bandwidth we use, and also
search results.  Plus, the smaller your email, the faster it goes out
