It's Friday, time for more randomness...

Lunchtime saw a clearmythoughts 125 blast up down up down 91 for some errands in der 930...  roof / windows open, sunna shining birdsa chirpin boosta _WAILING_.  Ahhhh, serenity now I feel muuuuch better.  Whilst on der 3hr lunch, I stopped in to visit cuzinlaw @ BMW.  We chat about the just arrived neu Z4 and before I know it and for no particular reason, I'm piloting it back up down up down 91 125 - because.

Gotsta say, it sure has some nice lines.  Retracting hardtop, dual clutch, 3.5Ltt, 300hp.  Oh and SIXTY LARGE (can you imagine?  tho, me sadly thinks 60 is the neu 50?).  A point squirt shoot kind of affair.  I generally dig the responsive steering & brakes, and the power is - um - OK.  My guess is this suckerz heavy.  Don't know more stats beyond I 7k red and I have the key.  It cranks and all but the 300hp I depart in the 930 with is uberly more gratifying (as if that needs to be typed).  Oh and looking over my shoulder as I burblepopopop out of there at the neu 750i, I wanted to hurl - square exhaust tips and melted looking tail lights - can you say Lex(sux)?  Blech!  Figures, they finally (almost) got the previous gen right and they nuke it for another failure?  Colossal failure at that.

Head across street to otherbud @ Merc.  Lots of gems to gawk @ there, ML63 prep'd for delivery, etc.  Then he mutter something about follow me top secret no one knows corporate owned.  Seems the neuneu E 'twas making an appearance there.  "Don't ask to drive it" is quickly commanded, and we go out for a looksee.  Front is quite modern, nearly spaceship like with them new headlights.  Nice side strakes reminiscent of it's Daddy S.  Get to the rear however and it's hmm lemme see here... Chrysler Sebring tail lights, as well as rather Infiniti G / Lex(sux) looking in the rear.  Meh.  Not offensive but not appealing.  And the tails bleed along the sides until nearly the front indicators.  WTF?

It's Friday, it's sunny, there's a 930 outside, and I'm in broinlaw's wedding reception tomorrsky - schmell ya!
