[s-cars] How failtastic is the B7 S4 automatic? Anyone have a line on a manual avant?

Going into the history books- the MC'd 5000's actually has a signal
wire from the brake light circuit to the ECU...hit the brakes, and it
killed all boost.  I can't remember if the 3B has it...dunno about the
AAN.  The Bentley wiring diagrams will reveal...

I remember an instructor in the club telling me a bunch of years ago
that he was driving a TT with drive-by-wire throttle, and he got about
5 seconds of left-foot braking before power disappeared.
